US & UK Bedding Size Guide

Choose bedding by measurements, because US and UK size names are different. Start with your mattress for fitted sheets and your duvet insert for the duvet cover. Measurements below are width × length, in inches first with centimetres in brackets.

Pre-launch size guide: mattress dimensions identify the intended bed size. Duvet-cover sizes and fitted-sheet pocket depths below are planned specifications; final finished dimensions and mattress fit will be confirmed before orders open. Join the launch list for final sizing and availability.

US Queen

• Mattress: 60 × 80 in (152.4 × 203.2 cm).
• Planned duvet cover: 90 × 90 in (228.6 × 228.6 cm).
• Proposed fitted-sheet pocket: 16 in (40.6 cm).

US King

• Mattress: 76 × 80 in (193.0 × 203.2 cm).
• Planned duvet cover: 106 × 90 in (269.2 × 228.6 cm).
• Proposed fitted-sheet pocket: 16 in (40.6 cm).

UK Queen / Small Double

Our UK Queen label refers to the UK Small Double mattress, not a US Queen.

• Mattress: 47.2 × 74.8 in (120 × 190 cm).
• Planned duvet cover: 78.7 × 78.7 in (200 × 200 cm).
• Proposed fitted-sheet pocket: 11.8 in (30 cm).

UK King

• Mattress: 59.1 × 78.7 in (150 × 200 cm).
• Planned duvet cover: 90.6 × 86.6 in (230 × 220 cm).
• Proposed fitted-sheet pocket: 11.8 in (30 cm).

How to measure your bed

1. Measure the mattress from side to side, then from head to foot.
2. Measure its total height, including any topper used beneath the fitted sheet.
3. Check your duvet insert label or measure its width and length separately.
4. Compare with the final product specifications before ordering.

Pocket depth and maximum mattress height are not automatically the same. Elastic, construction and the fabric needed to tuck underneath affect fit. Our proposed pockets are design targets, not a confirmed fit guarantee.

Is a US Queen the same as a UK King?

No. A US Queen mattress is 60 × 80 in (152.4 × 203.2 cm); a UK King is about 59.1 × 78.7 in (150 × 200 cm). The dimensions are close but different, so check the label and measurements rather than substituting one name for the other.

Does the duvet cover need to match the mattress size?

Choose the cover to fit your duvet insert. Duvet dimensions can vary between brands even when both are called Queen or King. Mattress measurements alone do not establish which cover will fit.
